History

Allwood, Searle & Timney Ltd was established in 1960, predominantly to provide Design Engineering to the Manufacturing Industry and has a solid history of working alongside large and small Engineering Companies both in the UK and Internationally.

By 1970, the Company employed approximately 200 Engineers and Designers and it is unlikely that there are Nuclear Facilities, UK Steel Mills, UK Automotive Manufacturers or Rolling Stock on any UK Railway today that hasn't, at some point during this period, had design input by one of Allwood, Searle and Timneys Ltd Engineers.

In 1994, Allwood, Searle and Timney Ltd was reformed to create AST Resourcing Ltd as it is today, complete with its Sister Company, AST Recruitment. Together, they successfully continue to offer Design and Engineering Services to many diverse industries.

Now, AST continue to push forward in developing designs for Global Companies, utilising state-of-the-art technology to ensure maximum efficancy and reduced delivery time. Still a Privately Owned Business, AST look forward to another 45 years plus of designing and engineering the future …
