We call this DATAshare.

 

In 2008, AST embraced a system called E/pop to deliver this service. Now re-branded as Nefsis, AST can offer its customers that require AST’s design team to collaboratively work with their team this amazing solution.

 

A picture is worth a thousand words! It's often much easier & less time consuming to show somebody what you mean as opposed to describing it over the phone.

 

This secure web & video conferencing system has saved us hundreds of travelling hours too! With a few clicks of our mouse, an AST Rail Designer & one or more participants can be in an online meeting room sharing a computer desktop & literally developing products “real time”

 

The idea of sharing a desktop is pretty straight-forward & Nefsis takes care of all the details: Firewall & proxy traversal for business users, encryption & security for sensitive applications & most importantly for a productive session, fast real-time response.

 

Nefsis also takes care of different sizes of computer screens, automatically defaulting to the best view of the desktop. If needed, you or your participants can also click fit in view (entire desktop visible), fit to width, actual size and/or auto scroll. Everyone will see the best view for their particular PC & screen.

 

The desktop video conferencing feature also adds a much-needed human dimension to your sharing sessions. The meeting can be recorded & used as “Minutes of Meeting” so no additional notes need be taken. AST, a member of your team.
